The St Mary’s Cathedral Girls’ Choir is a new and exciting initiative at Saint Mary’s Cathedral. Applications are invited from from girls aged 9 years and upwards to take part in this great musical adventure. The Young Voices Choir is directed by the Cathedral and Diocesan Director of Music, Timothy Craig Harrison.
As a member of the St Mary’s Cathedral Girls’ Choir you will
- Explore an exciting and varied range of choral music
- Receive expert choral training in a happy environment
- Improve all your musical skills
- Be a vital part of a Royal Schools of Church Music affiliated choir
- Gain RSCM choral medals as your skills develop
- Take a leading role in music at the Cathedral
- Sing throughout the region
- Tour with the choir
The St Mary’s Cathedral Girls’ Choir will rehearse each Thursday evening during term time, starting in the summer term.
